These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WakiliGO tenthlining tool available at tenthlining.wakiligo.com ("the Service"), operated by WakiliGO ("we", "us", "our"). By uploading a document or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Does

WakiliGO automatically numbers every tenth line of your legal document in compliance with Rule 12 of the Kenya Court of Appeal Rules and related Practice Directions. We process your PDF and return a formatted, court-ready document.

WakiliGO is a document formatting tool. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Nothing produced by this Service constitutes legal advice, and we accept no responsibility for legal outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using WakiliGO, you confirm that you have the authority to upload the documents you submit — whether as the advocate on record, a firm employee, or a client acting on their own behalf.

3. Payments

The Service charges KES 1.50 per page. Pricing is shown clearly before you complete payment.
Payments are processed via Paystack and M-Pesa. We do not store your card or M-Pesa PIN — all payment data is handled directly by Paystack.
Your document will be processed and available for download immediately after successful payment confirmation.
Prices may change at any time. Changes take effect on new transactions only — never on a payment already initiated.

4. Refunds

You are entitled to a full refund if your document failed to process and you did not receive a usable output.
No refund is issued if the document was successfully processed and delivered but the court rejected it for reasons unrelated to tenth-line formatting (e.g. incorrect margins set by you, wrong font, or filing after deadline).
To request a refund, email support@wakiligo.com within 7 days of your transaction, with your reference number.

5. Your Documents

You retain full ownership of every document you upload. We claim no rights over your content.
Documents are processed solely to perform the formatting you requested. We do not read, share, sell, or analyse the content of your files.
Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers after processing is complete. We do not maintain long-term storage of your documents.
By uploading a document, you confirm that you are authorised to share it and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Submit fraudulent, forged, or fabricated court documents
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems
Circumvent payment by manipulating page counts or pricing
Upload content that is illegal under Kenyan law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these rules, without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, WakiliGO is not liable for:

Court rejection of a document for reasons beyond formatting
Missed filing deadlines due to processing delays caused by factors outside our control
Loss of data resulting from your own device or network issues
Any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from use of the Service

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to that claim.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will not be liable for losses arising from downtime.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
